H Steve,
One question I would like to ask, which I can’t see answered anywhere on the web. If I had laser surgery now to correct short-sight, either by Lasik or lasek – would I be able to have the old-sight correction later on? I am 42 and just starting to notice that I might need varifolcals soon.
thanks
Hi Lisa
Yes, you could have that fixed later. Usually at age 42, I would recommend leaving a small amount of short-sight in one eye for a mini blended vision. This would still give you excellent vision, but delay the need for reading glasses for a few years which is very helpful.
Best regards
Dave
